Who knows what - writing, crafts, tours, retreats, but I'm sure you could do any number of clever and creative things that will bring income AND be fun! But I'd still keep buying a powerball ticket on Wednesday and Saturday...Meg McCormickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01226110990838922422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2240067140694289750.post-29324027247919526632013-10-18T20:29:27.224-04:002013-10-18T20:29:27.224-04:00What a beautiful sunrise. I am sorry that you and others have had to go through so much uncertainty over your jobs...ironically, working for the government had always seemed to be a " plum" job, with tons of security. Who would have ever guessed this crisis ?
I have confidence that you will think up something for a back-up plan. You have so many things going for you, and now you are a published author, to boot!
Enjoy the beauty around you, and trust that things will work out.
LLCAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2240067140694289750.post-20409562414704912412013-10-18T15:48:55.439-04:002013-10-18T15:48:55.439-04:00I love the colors in your reflection photos! Don...I love the colors in your reflection photos! Don't ponder too much about what you'd do at your age. I started my government job at 49! No kidding. Retired at 60.

That kids ball team on my blog is one I stole from the internet. Don't know who the creepy guy in the back row is. I think it's one of those "people of Walmart" pictures :)
Now, get back to work! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16036374022323687122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2240067140694289750.post-462192019118114632013-10-18T09:47:42.577-04:002013-10-18T09:47:42.577-04:00We're taking the same attitude up my way. Some scary thoughts are running around in my head, but there comes a point when you have to say "I'll think about the tomorrow--today we have a gorgeous sunrise." And I remember that one way or another we all muddle through. Thanks for the photos, I turn to your blog so many time because it reminds me what's really important in this world. One of these days we're just going to chuck it all and move down to your gorgeous part of the world. The pink sky is stunning.
Yes, you're really going to have to do some thinking about your job, but not at sunset, not on Saturday or Sunday.
Monday is soon enough.
I posted pictures of Yorktown today. I have a great many more I took on my way back, of the waterfront. It was lovely. They'll make it into my blog yet.
Hi to all.
Luv, KKay L.
