(Wonder where the tractor is that would pull it?)

I also see something that looks like a kitchen sink over on the ground on the left, but my screen is not that clear so it is probably something else. Like a small animal, because that's how horrible my monitor is.

Most of all, I see a tree that, if it could talk, could keep me riveted with the stories it could tell, and that barn with the tree coming out the back (where the roof is bent) is the same one I photographed (from the side angle) when I almost ran the car into the Piankatank River.

Those poles probably were meant to look nautical (people do that around here, esp. at the end of the driveway) and likely had a chain that stretched across to keep trespassers out.....not that I would know anything about that stuff.

Monday's almost over. Hallelujah. Only 43 more days to go until Friday, or so it seems.

Have a wonderful evening.Chesapeake Bay Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07187804072769932131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2240067140694289750.post-64952388365451339142009-04-27T14:53:00.000-04:002009-04-27T14:53:00.000-04:00I'm always up for a good treasure hunt. Funny how that doesn't change the world over, eh? Could have been a barn anywhere on my parent's property, or my late husbands' families property.
Lots of history hiding in there, as well as current work to be done. Carpet snakes hiding in the rafters. Horses and cows just out of the picture grazing on the lush grass. Kangaroos hopping away into the distance. Oops, sorry, wrong country.
