Tranquility

p.s. Except I can't help myself I would like to add that ordinarily when I'm at Aaron's Beach it's just after sunrise.  In this instance I took an evening drive down there to test out my ailing camera.  As long as I keep the camera set on the sports mode, the problem with the ISO and lighting doesn't occur. These photos were taken in dim light and didn't come out any darker than they should have. 

I can only hope the camera keeps from dying before I make a trip later this week to a historic Mathews home called Beachland. There is quite a story to be told there and I need pictures to go along with it.

But for now, I've already written too many words on what was supposed to be a wordless post. I did try, though.

    Beautiful pics. Hoping your camera has a speedy recovery. After two months in a drawer, I decided to invest in a new lens for mine. The old one sounded like Christmas bells when I moved. Couldn't focus and the lens parts obstructed a portion of the view when I snapped a picture, but it still tried. Looking forward to some beach shots over the weekend.

    Amazing how just a photo can reduce your blood pressure. I love Aaron's Beach in the evening. Looking forward to the Beachland story and pics

    lovely words .. and you know I am sure your lovely Mama will let you use her camera as a back up .. if only you lived closer, I'd get to see you a lot more often AND have a lot more interesting pix to post AND you'd be able to use one of my cameras!

    I'm glad your camera still works. Last year the auto focus went out on mine. I could shoot in manual, but after being spoiled by the auto mode who would WAN'T to shoot manual, besides, I have forgotten how. Anyway, I took it in to the shop to see about getting it fixed. He told me it was an easy fix....I had to buy a new lens! Not cheap, but it's fixed!

    Gorgeous pictures, by the way. Is it summer yet?

    Yes, you get more light when it's set to landscape. And they are lovely.
