I love the cheerful yellow color of the shutters and the blinds at the window. It looks like someone was making the most of what they had to work with.
Tenacity, sometimes also called mule-headed stubborness by those who know me well, is a quality I have in abundance, I can relate to that weathervane.
Love the weather vane, it matches the gold colored roosters weather vanes on my magenta rubber boots. Yes, I sometimes wear them in public. I'm just that cool. Love the little house/church/shed/barn/whatever
What a cute little house/shed/or whatever it is! It must have been a house at one time with the gas tank by the side. I know! I like to think that maybe at one time it was the detached kitchen to a much larger house and then turned into a cottage, and then turned into a garden shed. Were there any other buildings in the vacinity?
Thanks for reading and thanks for leaving a comment. I thoroughly enjoy hearing what you have to say even if I don't always have a chance to respond personally.
I always admire tenacity, something I didn't realize I had any of until my 65th birthday.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos, as always.

Tenacity plus - poor thing definitely has a list...but you make it look good in your photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Tuesday!
I like the window shutters, too. You do have to wonder about the stories of houses like this.
