Nature

Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

I believe that there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright. ~Henry David Thoreau

Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars... and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers - for no reason. It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are. ~Osho

  2. I would love a little tree dna in my genes. Not that I'm unhappy, I just can't tread water for three days straight.

Somehow this got posted on your previous post, so I reposted it here....just in case you missed it.

    Great message, and Happy Sunday!

  5. I found you through Daryl at out & about in NY. What a lovely blog! You have an appreciation for things the same as I. I loved the posting about the trees and flowers (along with the beautiful photo), and I like the fact that you pointed out the osprey's nest. Most people only see what's directly in front of their noses.

Hope you don't mind my stopping by and that I commented.

If you would like, stop by my spot sometime.

  6. Except for olive trees, which are so often very old and crabby.

Thanks for reading and thanks for leaving a comment. I thoroughly enjoy hearing what you have to say even if I don't always have a chance to respond personally.
