Mad Hatters

Deltaville Jamie

Saturday evening a group of blog friends gathered at my house for some fun, frivolity and some very serious dancing stylin' and profilin.' The theme, which was not really planned, was hats.

I'm convinced that the secret to true happiness lies in a hat.

There were crab hats and coonskin caps.

Big Hair Envy

Chef hats.

Noe Noe Girl and Big Hair Envy

Stylish hats.

Ann Marie

Sombreros.

Baby Sister, aka the most photogenic person I know.

Even cowboy hats and just hats, hats, hats.

There was a whole lot of music which meant all sorts of dancing.

And hugging.

My parents

And kissing.

Noe Noe Girl and Chesapeake Bay Mother

In short, a good time was had by all.

CB Mother and Ann Marie

Thanks to Noe Noe Girl for fixing us the best supper ever.  Thanks to Baby Sister for bringing the Snoop Dog CD Trader Joe's hummus, a very rare treat for those of us who live approximately fifteen thousand forty miles from a Trader Joe's.  Thanks to Ann Marie and Big Hair Envy for helping me clean up. And a great big thanks to Deltaville Jamie for making the trip here during her family's weekend getaway to Deltaville.

Let's do it again soon.

  6. I so love having my face show up in my list of blogs I follow. There was a bad word said followed by some serious cackling. HAD A BLAST! And it was no hardship to find the time to get away from the family weekend... I was driving very fast to your house before my mom changed her mind and didn't want to keep the Brat Child
