Weather

Aarons Beach on Thursday

Although the calendar proclaims spring is here,
Mother Nature begged to differ these past few days.

Thursday we had snow flurries. The wind at Aarons Beach was fierce
and brutally cold (although it doesn't necessarily appear so in these pictures).

It was c-o-l-d.

The wind was blowing so hard  my car shook when I parked here.

They say it's supposed to be sunny and in the fifties on Saturday.

("They" better be right. Otherwise I'm packin' up and headin' south.)

May your weekend be filled with sunshine and mild temperatures.

Have a good one.

  2. Very very cold here, with a snowstorm today. No fun, especially for the people in a 100-car accident on Highway 2 in Edmonton.
I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere.
    Keep warm!

  3. Hopefully La Azteca will prove to be a good spot to warm up this weekend. They might have a nice hot bowl of caldo to thaw out the extremities...they can probably use the patronage since they just had the grand opening.
    (Or tequila shooters ?)

  4. hoping for sun for you cbw

should be warm enough in the 30's here (Celsius) but a possible thunderstorm warning should dampen things somewhat in places

Thanks for reading and thanks for leaving a comment. I thoroughly enjoy hearing what you have to say even if I don't always have a chance to respond personally.
