Around Here, You Never Know

"Downtown" Mathews Court House last Sunday.
I was admiring the blue sky when something in the distance caught my eye.

What the....?

Just another day in Mathews Court House.

Technology Transition Week Update:  My bestest, favoritest, most wonderfulest son in the whole wide world fixed my new laptop last night, however I've not had time to figure out how to download pictures with the new software yet, so please be patient for the Beachland story. I am praying I can figure this out by Friday anticipate it will go up on Friday.

In the mean time, when was the last time you were driving down the road and almost clipped a Claus?

It makes me sad not to see the old 'c clamp' christmas wreaths on the light poles. But on the other hand, it makes me smile to see a gas sign that says 'high test', since people here quickly give me the side eye when I use that ol' phrase. And I'm happy to hear about your new fangled teck-kno-low-gee. So two out of three ain't bad! :)

sorry about that last post, I had to delete it, my other one would not go through and it was a test...

I know, I know, but I just can't help myself, I love Christmas and Santa, in fact my whole house is decorated already, I did it all yesterday, now just the outside has to get done, crazy I am...

Congrats on the new laptop, what brand did you go with, I would love a new computer myself, Santa are you listening...

Does your new laptop have a slot for your camera's memory card? A lot of new ones do and I find it to be simple and easy to use to get photos on the computer. Just a thought. I haven't clipped a claus recently or ever really. Though sometimes those bell ringers really get on my nerves...

...And seriously, a cross dressing Santa? Is that a skirt I'm seeing or do I need another cup of coffee? That is a skirt isn't it? *now rubbing eyes*

...A new laptop. You go girl! I'm still computing via a circa 2004 desktop pc. Mmm hmm, we're going for that "antique techy" look...*giggle*snort* ;o)

...And watch out for those Santas CBW, I heard they can do a lot of damage to a car and even hurt the driver if they come thru the windshield.

...Blessings :o)

Santa in a SKIRT!??! I can see the bushy hair. Did He/She have a beard? Too bad She/He didn't look the other way.

I was driving home from work the other day, and saw Santa driving a big red Chevy pick-up. He must have been incognito, though, because he didn't have his red suit on. But he definitely had the hair and beard!

BTW, I use Kodak Easy Share to download my photos. I just plug my camera in a USB and the computer asks me where to send them, and I click on the Kodak icon.

Harem pants? Coulottes ? Hostess loungers ? Santa has a lot on his/her mind these days, and has been known to wander into traffic. (Or was there a bar nearby ?)
