Demolition has begun on the beloved Donk's Theater, which recently succumbed to the weight of the elements of a storm known along the eastern seaboard as Jonas.
The ticket booth is now gone.
And the facade looks so sad and empty.

It just makes me really sad to see it this way. Donk's has been there my whole life and it was always talked about for as long as I can remember. Plus I just really liked the name "Donk's". Any word if they are going to rebuild the building? I haven't seen anything about that yet.
Aw, the seats. The seats make me sad.
Ouch. The red porthole doors are fabulous...I hope someone got those to reuse somehow.
