Declaration

Ahhhh, Saturday.

How sweet it is.

I hope to spend my day plopped down somewhere much like this seagull.

Eating.  Napping. Watching the dust bunnies frolic and cavort at the foot of Mt. Laundry.

After surviving the first full week of January, I hereby officially declare today a Do Nothing Day.

How will you spend your Saturday?

p.s. The Chesapeake Bay Children are having friends over today and tonight, so actually I will be serving as a short order cook for the next 24 hours--as opposed to doing nothing.  In between, though, I hope to nap and watch TV. Maybe House Hunters International will feature someone looking for a place in Bora Bora.

(Dear House Hunters International , if you're looking for someone to star in an upcoming Bora Bora special, contact me immediately. Love, CBW.)

I'm up early because I have an appointment at the Honda service place an hour south of here.
It's dark. And it's cold. And we drive that far because I don't like the Honda dealer in Newark.

Have fun cavorting with your dust bunnies. And cooking!

I think HHI should feature us drinking wine and shopping all over the globe for showcase properties. Can you see a theme here?

Well I'll be, we have snow! Probably not even an inch, but still. I'd do nothing, but we still have to undecorate our Christmas tree and stash away some other decor. And I promised to help do the same over at our church today. And I bet lots of people who said they were going to help, won't show up because of the little bit of snow. I can hardly wait.

Woke up to a couple inches of snow. I don't plan on doing much except maybe laundry and cleaning... maybe

I feel like crap, there is snow on the ground, the roads are iced over (I had to go to the post office)...I'm making a big pot of chili and watching for you and MPM to appear on House Hunters International Warm Climate Series!

Oh too funny! Your page is flagged for containing unauthenticated content! Ha!

My husband will be off soon, refereeing basketball again, after 9 hours of it yesterday. Tournaments R Us, that's my guy.
It's snowing here, too, and coming in at a precipitous angle because of the wind. Dick and Lindy had a very short walk today, although they did see a rabbit, who saw Lindy before she saw him, and beat a hasty retreat.
I am going to... do laundry, um, do more laundry, feed the dog in between trips to the laundry room (if I get up from my computer, she thinks she needs veggies) and, probably, do more laundry.
My laundry room still hasn't recovered from our trip to Hawaii last month. I was too sick to do anything until this week.
Sigh.
That'll teach me for getting sick in Hawaii.

We spent a good part of the day in Williamsburg and were fortunate enough to be there when it started snowing--fat, fluffy flakes unlike the graupel we got here in our neck of the woods. I just put some Williamsburg snow photos on my blog:

Great pix; looking forward to your book!
