Marsh Grass

Bethel Beach Facing West

Here are a few more shots from last week's late afternoon journey to Bethel Beach.

It's really a wonderful place to visit, in case I've never said that before.

But I'm pretty sure I have.

At least a thousand times.

Facing South

Hopefully this weekend I'll make some progress on the book, which is a very slow, very arduous project to say the least. If this were just a book of my own photographs with my own words on my own terms?  Easy.  You see how much hot air I can crank out on this blog, practically 365 days a year, with no quality effort whatsoever.

But this pictorial history book is a whole 'nother ball game.

(Curious about whole ' nother ball game which I frequently say but would never actually write except here for the world to see, I googled the phrase and came up with this interesting site (click here) that references it near the bottom of the page. CBW was relieved to know that she may very well be isn't necessarily cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs just because she uses strange phrases like "whole 'nother." At least a few other people out there are cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs too say it too.)

To take our minds off everything we've just written read, here are a few questions for you:

- What, if anything, do you hope to accomplish this weekend?
- What will you do that isn't a chore or an errand that you will enjoy or find relaxing?
- What was one of your favorite weekends of all time?

Good morning everybody...

as always great pictures of the beach...

Well I always work the weekends, but they just happened to give me off on Sunday. The DH is off on Sundays all the time. So he is a happy camper that we will enjoy the day together. He bought some steaks last week on sale, and he wants to grill this weekend. Ummm. I wonder how many Weight Watcher points there is a minute piece of beef??? As for actually going anywhere?? if the gas wasn't 3.25 a gallon? man if this keeps up it is going to take a toll on our summer customers at the casino. I know I am thinking twice before just hoping in the car now...

My best weekend ever, I can't talk about that out loud... ;) ahhhh to be 22, summer love, you get the picture...

OK I am kind of new to this blogging thing, but I did one. I am going to track my waist loss journey, hence the name of my blog...Hey I have to be accountable, even if it is just me...

I think I'm more Fruit Loops than Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Of course if I've indulged in battery licking then it would be more like Bran Flakes.

As for the weekend... we have an Irish Ceili to attend on Saturday. This is like a giant party with traditional Irish dancing and beer. Sunday is the Baltimore Home and Garden show. I don't have a home or a garden anymore which means I'll probably depress myself by going. One the other hand, my favorite winery has a booth there and you can sample their wine FOR FREE. You can also buy cups of wine and whole bottles. I'm not driving. I think we all know what I hope to accomplish.

Favorite weekend of all time? Last October in Deltaville included a seafood and arts festival, several days on the local beaches and an impromptu gathering at CBW's house for wine and fire.

I guess I will start spring cleaning while hubby sits transfixed by the charm of HD tv:) We had to make 2 trips to the cable co. to get all of the correct magic boxes.
My favorite weekend? I'll have to think about that! All of my days kinda run into each other right now- I wouldn't mind a weekend with sunshine, warmth, a good book and a camera nearby

I kind of liked the Natural Bridge animal safari place and the overnite in the old inn there. you really should show some of that footage on your blog. Remember the camel or llama or whatever who grabbed my bucket? Remember the feed in the crevices of your car? Good times. Mum

I never knew "a whole 'nother" wasn't, like, a real word until I tried to write it one time. Then I was like, OH. Huh.

This weekend? Might glance at some floor coverings and paint colors, as one of these weeks soon we'll be having our house repaired. I'm hanging with the ladies on the road tonight - drinks and snacks and poker - but other than that, no plans for relaxation. Snnnnzzz.

I've said "whole 'nother" for years, but I don't think I used it when I was growing up, so I must have picked it up from someone else later. Dunno who.
I have had many good weekends, but if I had to pick one, there's one in July of '79 I'd rate right up there.
