Today's mercifully brief post has two
First, I want to share a few more photos from Sunday's excursion to Aaron's Beach.
And, unrelated to the pictures, I want to help convey a public service announcement.
On my ride home from a soccer game last night (the JV boys lost to West Point), I received one of those automated phone calls from the school announcing a band concert tonight at 7 in the high school auditorium. Students from Thomas Hunter Middle School and Mathews High school will perform for approximately an hour and a half. Proceeds will be donated to the music department at Page Middle School in Gloucester, which lost most (if not all) of its instruments and equipment in the recent devastating tornado.
Tickets are $5 per person or $10 per family.
Since
I'm not sure if we'll be able to attend since there's soccer practice until 5:30 or 6 followed by dinner at Chesapeake Bay Mother's house (click on her name to access her latest blog post). She is fixing her world-famous homemade pizza, which includes garden-fresh ingredients and crust made from dough she whips up in her bread machine. She made some Sunday night, and the kids and I thought we'd died and gone to heaven. Something tells me we'll be fending off a food coma when tonight's feeding frenzy is over.
Hope your day is filled with good

I don't know how you could chose between homemade pizza or the concert. I love those photos
Do you know if Page Middle School is taking instrument donations? Somewhere I have a flute or two I also have at least one music stand. If you know, let me know. Love the pics per usual, I miss being down there already!
Wait. She has a blog and a facebook page???
Pizza, Pizza??? Did someone say homemade pizza??? Pizza has got to be the best food that was ever invented!!
FYI...I always try to make homemade pizza for the family at least once a month, but this work thing really gets in the way of a life...For a while I was making homemade pasta too, spoiled the chit out of them, when I made the box, they were like "what this?"
Beautiful pictures of the beach, the DH and I were just talking about that...taking the crazy puppy down there to run around..BTW she jumped off the deck last night, 5 feet, and we think she hurt her jaw...I hope she is just sore...ker-ching, ker-ching...
wv:cousne: pizza is the ultimate Italian cousne!
Oh I need some pizza now ... do they take donations .. duh, of course they do .. how do I make a donation?
Wonderful, enticing photos, just when it looks like we won't get there this year.
Sigh.
I dropped by your mother's blog to introduce myself, however, just in case my husband is persuaded by the thought of homemade pizza.
