Silent Sunday

I could never stay long enough on the shore;
the tang of the untainted, fresh and free sea air was like a cool, quieting thought.
Helen Keller

The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.
Jacques Cousteau

When you sail on down ...yell out as you go by...

Happy quiet Sunday to you!

Hey! Is that my jetty? If it is, I would assume that it's an older pic. The boys have replaced both jetties now, (darn it!) in the hopes that the beach will build back up. There was just something kinda pretty about watching the water wash between those cracks that I always loved.

Breezeway- it is indeed. I have many, many shots from this jetty if you want them. It was a beautiful, beautiful old wall.

It's a long, long drive to the sea for me. 4 1/2 hours to anywhere good; only 3 to San Francisco, but then I'd have to be in San Francisco.

I prefer Breezeway's jetty, thank you.
