Hay Rake

Aside from yesterday's barn, another treasure hides in the swamp
marsh near Bethel Beach.

This.

If you weren't looking for it, you'd easily miss it.

It blends in perfectly with the surroundings.

And yes, I was still wearing the zebra print boots while taking these, even though we were out of the standing water.

I'll try to get some shots of the boots tomorrow or Friday.  I'm just returning from a road trip for work, and as I type this the boots are still in the back of the car....

Speaking of those boots, click here for a most amusing post by Deltaville Jamie that includes several hilarious illustrations.

Last but not least, and entirely unrelated to zebra print boots, check out my mother's humorous sketches on  her latest post here.

Hey, CBW ! I read DJ's incredible post, laughing out loud and making comparisons between South Park and her uproarious illustrations, when Javier Bardem's photo appeared with "CBW" in crab hat "climbing aboard", if U know what I mean. That post qualifies as the best online birthday card ever, don't you think ?
I also loved your Mom's post, AND the gorgeous hay rake ! Triple Crown-er.

Love that hay rake...good time to discover it, I imagine it is covered with vines during the 'green' season.

Love the old hay rake. The photo of Javier and CBW was brought about because quite honestly, every time I tried to draw Javier looking sexy, he looked more and more like a midget bigfoot. It was my favorite part of the post.

OMG! I had a dream that you posted on your blog that after 5 years, you were shutting it down because you were "considering several offers" that, it was implied, would bring you great fame and fortune! I'm happy and relieved to see photos of an old rusty hayrake instead... though that does not mean I don't wish you fame and fortune, too.

How could I resist a post with this title? You continue to make me chuckle through your observations in the world today and the ghosts of the past. And yes, need boot photos, please.

See what you started with those dang zebra boots? You might want to bring them in tonight, though. Supposed to snow tonight. Bring it on!
