Silent Sunday

Serenity is not freedom from the storm, but peace amid the storm.
-S.A. Jefferson-Wright

If you cannot find peace within yourself, you will never find it anywhere else.
-Marvin Gaye

Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances.

Perfect quotes to reflect on this Sunday morning. I think I'll take crab and PJB to church with me :)

Note to Ann Marie, who was worried about my not having a silent Sunday.
Just not my usual peaceful quiet Sunday. Have had a busy weekend of helping out and a wedding of a niece. Helping out since both her parents died a few years ago. Very sad. But a wonderful wedding...(some flowers on my new post).
Living in a house full of relatives of my daughter's husband...and one of them was quite ill today...not nice. His mother was assuring me it was just a migraine...wow...some migraine...however I will be very glad if that is all that it is....Especially with a baby on board here...

Sorry, I didn't know where to leave this comment, since Ann Marie's blog hasn't been updated since June 22 it looks like...?

I am hoping for a peaceful, butt ache free Sunday .. that is if the weather makes nice ... it was SO terrific to (barely) hear everyone's voice(s) on the phone last nite ... what a good Blister thing to do!

WV: resinksp ... this is obviously related to septic tank management ..

Mine isn't going to be silent as we're having our neighborhood fantasy football league draft this afternoon. I intend to dominate. I am actually studying now and planning a draft strategy.

When the crud starts getting me down, I hang on to these words: "This, too, shall pass".

Love the peace comments. I think Marvin Gaye said it quite well. Also Don't let anyone steal you joy or your inner peace.

Brilliant minds think alike - used that first quote on my pic Friday - yep photo of my favorite beach...in Virginia. However, I didn't know who wrote it so said anonymous. Thanks for the heads-up, my friend. Wish I'd been with y'all last night! (SOB)

Sunday was my first baby-step day toward feeling well again after The Ebola Virus. Harvested tomatoes (two! a banner day at House of Foolery and Terrible Gardening!) and had kids over to swim after dinner. Peace to you all.
