Grace

This is the steeple of a church called Grace down Mobjack, Virginia.

Below is a picture of a triangle within a triangle within a triangle within a triangle the steeple of a church called Grace.

A close-up of all those triangles.

More photos from this quaint church and my trip to Mobjack will be forthcoming later in the week.

In the mean time, Market Days was a blast, especially last night's street dance. It was great seeing old friends, and I don't know when I've laughed so much. The crowd I was with could very easily have a stand-up comedy routine and become millionaires, they are just that funny.

Enjoy the day and be sure to get some laughter in. It's good for the soul.

Well, you laughed an awful lot at BlogFest this summer, girl and if you laughed more than that at Market Days ~ how do you not explode?

Hey, where is everyone?

It's chilly and damp here and I actually love it.

CG-You're right about Blog Fest, but I swear I laughed even more last night. It makes me feel sooooo good to laugh like that, and honestly I don't know how a human being could not laugh if they were listening to the stories I heard. Just thinking about them makes me start chuckling all over again.

If I ever learn how to post a video, I'm going to get those characters together again and take some footage. It is not to be believed, and they're all stories about our local, small town characters. PRiceless.

MPM-It doesn't pay a red cent, just like everything else I love to do. And you've just made me laugh yet again with your perfect imitation of CB Mom's southern accent.

It's a rainy, gray day here, too, but I'm liking it. I'm not liking the prospect of work tomorrow, though.

Enjoy the remains of the weekend.

Daryl -it's a precious little church and I'd really like to see the inside of it. On this particular day, with the sun so clear, all those triangles came jumping out at me.

I go to a church called Grace. I guess I should go looking for triangles!

Meg-Triangles, of course, are very prevalent in church architecture (representing the trinity and all), but this particular steeple really does a great job of highlighting them. The beautiful sunny day didn't hurt either.

This church also boasts stained glass windows with nautical images, like an anchor.

I really need to see if I can take a visit inside one day.

I assume they're open on Sundays...

Glad you had a good time at Market days, once again VERY sorry I didn't drive down there. Somehow ended up at my late Grandmother's all weekend and witnessed one aunt blow up at the other aunt whereupon my cousin and I suddenly warped into the parental adults. Love the pics. Now I am going out to drink with my mother. I might not stop.

DJ-You missed a good time. There's always the Oyster Festival in November...

I love angles and triangles and in particular, rectangles, when I'm out and about taking pictures. The problem is, there's always this little girl with curly hair that keeps getting stuck in all of my pictures. The nerve! *lol*

So I'll just come over here and enjoy yours!

Glad you have a good time dancing in the street while I was home being square!
I have a thing for church steeples. I see a book in the making.
