Sunday, on my way to run some errands, I drove down to Haven Beach.
I stopped to admire these gorgeous green soybean fields.
Then I drove to the Food Lion.
Where customers were interacting with goats who
had some shopping to do
had escaped from home.
had escaped from home.
The store manager escorts the four-legged customers to the back of the building. |
As I was walking into the store, I heard an employee singing, "E-I-E-I-O."
The End.

Now I love Mathews even more.

Yet another reason to move there. Goats at the Food Lion. On another note: The Brat Child learned the of upcoming Blogfest 2013 and is more excited about hanging with "my people" than vacation. He's thrilled to be sleeping inside "the lady who's mom had that mean goose"'s house. He was also curious if all "my people" were "as crazy as the ones we had lunch with that time" you know who you are. Can we just skip the first 2 weeks of September?
wait ... are goats being forced to the back of the store? isnt that discrimination?
LOL @ Daryl!
Oh, I have to get to Mathews. Gotta see soybean fields, and goats-on-the-loose.
Still laughing about Daryl's question.

Cute. Only in Mathews, right?
I guess it just goes to show that you never know who (or what) you will see at Food Lion....only in Mathews. Priceless.
Oh great. Now I want a baby goat. And a piglet.
