Buy Boat

These buy boats were gathered at the Tides Inn as part of a festival of sorts that took place there this weekend.

Aside from going here Saturday afternoon, I didn't leave the house all weekend.

Sunday was way too cold, and all I wanted to do was hibernate until June 2014 sleep.

This week we shift gears into Thanksgiving-Christmas-NewYears-Don'tBlinkIt'sJanuary mode.

I'm not sure I'm ready, but that doesn't matter.  Ready or not, here it is.

I love the Iva W. She reminds me of the tugs on the Panama Canal in the 1960s, with the high afterdeck fitted out with a rocking chair.
I was aboard the original P&O Oriana, which was nifty enough in itself, but going through the canal I wanted to be on one of the family-operated tugs.
I miss the coast.
Sigh again.

I thought that, too, Daryl. Or at least the boat was for sale. I could live on that boat very nicely. Oh well. Very interesting about "buyboats". I've never heard of them.

I want to hang out on that boat with a porch with you. Looks like so much fun.
