Three Things

It's hard for me to believe it's Thursday once again, but it appears to be so.

That means it's time to share three things. As always, three is only a suggestion.  If you want to share forty three things, that's fine too. Really. I don't mind.

I'll go first.

1.  On Tuesday, my son voted for the first time.  It was a very proud day for me.

2.  On Wednesday, my son lost his car keys. We still can't find them.  It was a very nerve-wracking day for me.

3.  Today daughter will run in the regional cross country meet.  It will be a proud yet nerve-wracking day for me.

4.  (Because three is only a suggestion.)  My nerves need a vacation.

I could write a book on each one of these three topics, but there isn't enough time.

Now it's your turn to what three things, whatever is on your mind.

Anything at all.

Congratulations, and also "poor you"! You're the mother of a voter who has no car keys.
Three things from here:
1) Lindy got all excited when she saw deer this week. 2) Her distance vision isn't bad, but she bumps into things and people here in the house.
3) Even though we realize it's harder on us than it is on her, it breaks our hearts.
Hi to your family.
Luv, K

This looks like fun! Here's my list:

1) On Monday I went on a trail ride with a friend and her daughter, who had the day off from school. The weather was perfect and the horses were glad to be out, so a good time was had by all.

2) On Tuesday, I attempted to vote in our local elections, only to find out that we don't qualify because we live just outside the city limits (our property line IS the city limit!). Oh well, at least I tried to do my civic duty!

3) Yesterday my old dog and I started taking Boswellia supplements to see if it could ease our arthritis. My doctor recommended it to me, and there has been research done on dogs showing that it does help them in many cases, so I figured it wouldn't hurt either one of us to try it. We both woke up feeling less stiff this morning, but it is probably way too soon to start seeing results, so most likely we are just having one of our good days. We shall see how things progress. BTW, did you know that another name for Boswellia is frankincense? If it does work, I suppose it would be the perfect Christmas gift for all of my arthritic friends and family!

Enjoy the rest of your hopefully less nerve-wracking week!

(Oh, and thank goodness for spell-check, as I have bandages on two of the fingers on my right hand which make typing a challenge!)

how wonderful that your son voted for the first time! Sorry about him losing his car keys, hopefully they will turn up soon.
Good luck to your daughter!
Saturday is the huge Veteran's Day Parade - going to take my chair to the corner and watch. Am still on oxygen, so that gives me an excuse to take my chair:)
Have a great weekend!

1. The doctor announced that I will be a grandmother by Thanksgiving.

2.I'm still having issues with the word "grandson" and "grandmother"- they seem to keep getting caught in my throat every time I say them.

3. Frankincense can also be used to remove a curse. Just in case anyone needs any help in that department.

Ah, your son is being ushered into the joys of early adulthood, (i.e., voting and the ritual of the lost car keys, which must happen to most of us at some point.) Things should be interesting in your state now that Cooch got the boot....
Methinks a newer blogger on here, Cee Pluse, may be someone whom I have addressed as "C+E" in other blogs. That would be very exciting, if I am correct...the mention of horses and the cute Dalmation photo avatar is a giveaway...(I go by "LLColeman" on the other blogs).
Best of luck to CB daughter in the meet. ---LLC
