This sailboat pulled up into Queens Creek one recent evening for an overnight stay.
Aside from a sunset cruise on a catamaran in Grand Cayman around 1990,
I can't say I've ever been out on a sailboat any bigger than a sunfish.

Our neighbors way over here in our landlocked county have a sailboat below Annapolis, near the West River I think. Don't ask me any specs about it - I know it has a cabin down below that has a wee kitchen, tiny loo, and sleeps their family of 4, and they have brought our family along for day sails so it accommodates 9 quite nicely. While I LOVE sailing on the Bay(where sailing = other people do the hard work of tacking and whatnot while I watch and duck to stay out of the way), the cabin makes me think of camping, only on the water, which is not my cup of tea. And, it is not an inexpensive hobby either. I think they intend one day to move closer to it (it's about an hour away)... for now it's a fun diversion as their kids are almost grown and flown the nest, and we are happy they like us enough to share it with us occasionally (if only for the comic relief we provide).
Your father turned us over in that Sunfish near our shoreline, and the neighbor's dog and I had to swim for home.
The light and reflections o the sailboat in all those shots is just sublime. The water looks so peaceful.
