A Pair

These shots were taken from the road leading in to Bethel Beach. Whenever I see this all I see is arms, like an octopus trying to hypnotize that post.

(Take a look at the shot below and tell me what you see. The very last thing I see is what it actually is.)

What is wrong with a person who sees an octopus trying to hypnotize a post, when it's really just a bunch of old wood in a swamp?

Don't tell me; insanity ignorance is bliss.

Have a great Saturday, and watch out for the mesmerizing, hypnotizing land octopus who's taken up down at Bethel Beach.

There's a political wisecrack in there somewhere, but I don't care enough to root it out.

This comment brought to you by Too Many Gustav Images, Not Enough Wine.

CBW, as time marches on do you find yourself paying more attention to detail? Do you sense when a storm is coming ? do you walk by a drift wood bush and see great shapes and colors? Do you take more time to enjoy the sunsets and sunrise's? Do you watch your children grow up with a passion and profoundness that only you can feel? Are the colors brighter to you? Are the smells more profound and ordained ? Do you stop at the sight of thing that you have passed a thousand times before? well do you? Youth is great. But aging gracefully is wonderful!MM

Foolery, your retinas are probably ruined if you've been staring at Gustav photos for too long.

Mathews Mark, I do not have any attention to detail except when it comes to nature, but the answer to the rest of your questions is yes. ALso, get over here with some of that coffee you're drinking. Clearly there's something extra special in it this morning.

AM-Thanks for stopping by yesterday. Oh, and if Mathews Mark sends you any of his coffee, will you bring me a cup? Thanks.

Headed to Deltaville later today for baseball, fireworks and possibly the chance to meet with blogger Jamie who is down for the weekend. It's a perfect day to spend outside, the weather here could not be more perfect. I might even pull out the crab hat.

Have a great day.

The photo reminds me of some science fiction film I've seen, but the memory loss won't let me remember which one...or why..

First, I see a witch, buried in the sand except for her wild hair and hands with those long nails, saying "I'll get you, my pretty".

MM, Wow! How profound. Please send me at least a gallon of that coffee.
I could seriously use it, as I am without thought most of the time now.

Wishing everyone a great weekend!

Came back to see what's going on and WHOA Mathews Mark! Dude, you need a blog. I'm serious. As much as I can be, anyway.

I totally see the octopus, but I got more of a hermit crab... they have those little antennas and have those skinny little legs they reach out with to feel around and see what's in front of them...
