Silent Sunday

"Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead. "
Louisa May Alcott

"Never look down to test the ground before your next step; only he who keeps his eyes fixed on the horizon will find the right road."
Dag Hammarskjold

"It's another gorgeous weekend here. Go out and enjoy the fresh air and try not to think about the piles of dirty laundry the start of the work week tomorrow. Also, if you're going to fix your eyes on and take steps towards the horizon above without looking down, you may want to consider wearing a flotation device."

A gorgeous weekend here too!

I would trip over the curb keeping my eyes on the horizon, then get ran over by a car. Great quotes, though:)

My thoughts exactly...hoping there is no sink hole to swallow me. Oh me of little faith!

Hoping the weekend is a great one for you!

I was going to comment on the quote about not looking down because I always look down. Except when I don't and that's when I trip. So clumsy!

Beautiful weekend!! I'm going out back to sit in the morning sun and knit. I should be doing laundry but this is so much better.

There is no doubt Dag H. was a good man, but he was never an old lady. I can't look to the horizon for my aspirations, I aspire only to not falling flat on my face or other body parts.
I love your photo. What a beautiful place, what gorgeous white sand, and I love the sea grass!

Last time I didn't look down, I fell through the hole in our dock and messed up my leg. It's still messed up.

I want to borrow Jamie's flotation device.
