Well, apparently mine will involve shoveling SNOW. Yes, I said SNOW. In OCTOBER.

Doing the pumpkin thing one last weekend...and after that...sleep.

Something that brings me joy. That's the plan, anyway.

Thanks for asking.

Today, I am working, but at 2:30pm I am headed to the courts to have my private tennis lesson that I absolutely love. I haven't had it in three weeks because of travel, so I will triple-love it today. I did cut my right thumb yesterday on a broken candle and that may be painful, though.

Then, I'll come home and finish work.

Tonight at 6pm I'm meeting some girlfriends at the neighborhood clubhouse to have some wine and decorate for the Adult costume party that we are having tomorrow night.

Tomorrow night, we have Elvis coming to dj and perform at the neighborhood clubhouse. Hoping for a big turnout. I am honoring Amy Winehouse by dressing up as her....I even have her tattoos (temporary) that I found on a website. Elvis and Amy have a lot in common.

I guess Sunday will be my day of rest!

We're supposed to get snow tomorrow, but hopefully nothing that sticks to the roads and sidewalks, so no shoveling. The hot water heater broke and dumped all of it's water on the basement floor, so tomorrow I'll be cleaning that mess up and arranging to get a new one installed. On Sunday, I'll be watching the Ravens and hoping for a better game than their last one was. All in all, a ho-hum weekend.

Saturday its going to rain here (and snow north and west of here) while I am trek'in across town and downtown and then back uptown .. its beautification™ day beginning with a much needed massage .. Sunday will be nicer, I am told, and so I will go Halloween decoration photo hunting I've also been told there's a lot to see on West 78th St ...

No snow here yet, but mixed rain & snow predicted for Monday. Yes, for Hallowe'en. I feel sorry for all the little kids. We'd make hot chocolate for them, but these days "no unwrapped treats" is de rigeur.
Plan? The final game of the World Series tonight.
If I'm lucky, I'll get up tomorrow and Sunday. And if I'm really lucky I'll get up in time for church on Sunday. The rule is: if I'm actually managing to sleep, don't wake me up. If I wake up in time, I'll go.

Well, no snow shoveling here, thank goodness. Though I wouldn't mind a little less heat and humidity.
I shouldn't complain because it sure isn't too bad really. 23 at the moment, getting up to 29 celsius max.
It looks like I'll be doing more of the same, cleaning and tidying this house for when the family come home from the US next week. Can't believe it is nearly here. Help, and I am not ready.
Ah, but a few days at the beach baby minding first will be very pleasant while they get over their jet lag, and horrific effort to dispose of possessions and pack their seven suitcase (and 65 boxes that left on the ship). And look for a house to rent! Just as well they are much younger than I.

With the weather cold, rainy, and just plain nasty, I hope you get to have a nice relaxing weekend. Whatever needs to be done, it can wait. It's your turn...take a nap.

Dghawk - I have indeed declared today a Do Nothing Day. Thankfully there is nothing that has to be done, nowhere I have to be (unusual, but quite pleasant), no deadlines to be met, and the weather pretty much seals the deal. Cold + rain + wind + Saturday = Do Nothing! I can't wait to get started!

Hope you and anyone else reading enjoy the day/weekend.

if its the weekend, that must mean that moi, has work....eekkk, I dislike that job, but it pays the bills so I must go...cold and raining here.

tomorrow after work (I will be up at 4am to be at work by 6am and work till 2 pm) I am going to meet my brother and my sisters and the nephew's house to see the new baby...Camryn Rose...man I know babies are cute but this little girl is exceptional...

everyone enjoy your weekend and stay warm...

Maria - It did come out right. Also, I love the name. Sorry you have to go to work but glad you'll be able to see that exceptionally cute baby!
