Redart Work Boats

I love these baskets...

and the cute little lids.

These were taken from the docks at Redart last weekend.

Speaking of weekend, I am ecstatic! very happy that Memorial Day weekend is upon us.

Not only will I enjoy a three-day weekend, but I'm taking off from work next week to prepare for and participate in Chesapeake Bay Daughter's 8th grade graduation activities.

Happy Memorial Day.

Is it graduation time already. Boy oh boy this year is speeding by. Before you know it the fireflies will be out and the crickets will be singing.

We will be heading down to DC for Rolling Thunder, a very moving Memorial Day event. Veterans from all over the country ride their harleys (and other bikes) in and ride around the monuments. It's a sight to see (and a roar to hear!) Then we will move on to the BBQs, pool time, sales at the mall--all those typical Memorial Day events.

Have a great weekend everyone! --Betsy

Very glad to know you have a week off and the 8th grade graduation is very exciting; congratulations to CB daughter !
I have an amazing niece who is graduating from Univ. of Oregon with a communications/international studies degree. She spent part of last fall staying with a family in Jordan, and after that with a family in Tunisia...blogged the whole time and took great photos.
