Waiting

Like the gulls above, I'm poised.

Ready for Whatever! take-off.

Today Son and I travel to Norfolk for an appointment with the surgeon who will perform the Nuss procedure on him next Wednesday.

If only worries everything could be scheduled so nicely.

I will post a few more times prior to next week's surgery, but activity on this blog will grind to a halt until we're back home from Norfolk, which hopefully will be the week of September 10.

In the interim, enjoy the last long weekend of summer.

Happy Labor Day.

I will hold you & CB son in my thoughts tomorrow and into the weekend..praying and sending love all next week for a very successful surgery. CB son is athletic and active, that should go a long way to ensure good outcomes, not to mention the love and prayers from all over the country & beyond. X O

My thoughts and prayers are with you all today and will continue until all of this is behind you. If there is anything I can do to help out in any way during all of this please let me know.

Enjoy the traffic today and watch those red lights. I bet that will get a laugh out of you.

I feel so much better after reading all the information in the link you added because I had no idea that the procedure was actually created and perfected at the hospital where you are going. How wonderful is that?! Minimally invasive is a blessing. Take care and know that somebody in Maryland luvs ya.
