Marsh Scenes

These were taken at the public landing in Onemo.

If a picture paints a thousand words, and there are five pictures here, that's five thousand words, only slightly less than what I usually write in a given day yet never seem to get to the point more than enough words for one blog post.

Have a great Monday.

While driving into work in AC, NJ there is bay on both sides of Rt 30. I am always looking for the Great Egrets. I know I should be having my eyes on the road but I love them...they are so serene...

These pictures just make me think of peace. Quiet. Tranquility.

I just love all your photos! Your first book is about the changes Mathews has gone through. Maybe your next book should be about the natural aspect of the county and how it hasn't (and hopefully WON'T) changed!

Eileeninmd - Thanks, good to hear from you. I love egrets too.

MPM-You need to come back for a visit soon.

Maria-Thanks for the reminder, I entered just a while ago--not like I need another house and yard to maintain, so don't ask me why I did. If I win, though, we can work out some sort of deal. The only payment required would be homemade Vietnamese spring rolls...with dipping sauce, of course.

Daryl-I agree, they're very elegant looking.

Geertje - Glad I can help. Hope your day improved and tomorrow is better.

Trisha - Me too, and you should see the place in person. It soothes the soul.

Meg-The green is very vibrant now, although the cornfields are starting to turn. Fall is just around the corner. When are we going geocaching? Did I even use that term properly?

Dghawk - That is a great idea and as soon as I can finalize the first book (I still owe a few pages of material), I'll try to focus on just that sort of project. Maybe a calendar to keep it simple and then graduate to more of a coffee table book of photos. It ought to be tenfold easier than the first book since I already have the photos on hand.

Well, Monday's coming to an end and I'm happy just to have survived.

Thanks for reading, I appreciate hearing from you.
