behind a garden
which is behind a house
which belongs to someone who is like a sister to me.
Bad weather precluded a visit to the Mathews Maritime Heritage Day Saturday. However, the heavy downpours and strong winds eventually subsided, just in time for a very pleasant drive over to King and Queen County, where I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with good friends.

Oh, glad you managed to get together, despite the rain. We had a busy weekend, mostly full of preparations for school which begins today. Hoping I can capture the moment that my two older sons BOTH head off to high school!

As for me the highlight of my weekend was I had to work. Can work be considered a highlight?
The highlight of our weekend was dinner with friends and rain, rain, rain. We could use the rain and it was kind of entertaining, so the rain was ok by me. --Betsy
My weekend included seeing the movie Paranorman, ice cream, some impromptu ghost hunting and a Monster Truck Show. And moving furniture around so I can have Midge's former room. Very thrilling.
Quiet weekend of reading and watching TV...so glad you were able to have dinner with good friends!

My highlight? Buying a brand new 2013 Subaru. Woot!
Then I almost started crying because of buyer's remorse. But I am over it now. At least until the payments begin. Gah!
