Heron
This heron lives
and wades
and fishes
on Callis Creek in Redart.
I caught him recently searching for supper amid the local oyster operation.
All is as busy as--if not busier than--ever in my world.
I hope all is well in yours.

Just wanted to let you know I enjoy your blog and your photos. I spent a long weekend a few years ago on Gwynn's and really enjoyed my time there - hope someday to go again. I'm in Fluvanna - between Richmond and Charlottesville. Best, Kim
Thanks so much, Kim, for your kind words. Gwynns Island is a wonderful place to unwind. My two children are in school in Charlottesville, so I have zoomed by your exit a few times!
