The other day on the way home from Mobjack I
The sunlight was perfect, so I was stopping every few feet yards to take pictures. Thankfully, there's not a lot of human beings traffic down that way, so pulling over on the side of the road isn't such a big deal.
Here are three different shots of the same barn.

Which one do you prefer and why?
If youcan't stand any of them have no preference or would just rather talk about something else, when was the last time you were inside a barn?
If you
I like the first one because the telephone pole and the trumpet creepers provide a soft frame, and the main elements are in better proportion with one another. But I also like that picture of dogs sitting around playing poker, so pay no mind to me.
The last time I was in a barn was when I borrowed my parents' Cub Cadet, which they park in their barn. You have to dodge and deflect jug hornets to get in and out of there (all while trying to start the tractor), but if you're quick on your feet and used to dodging geese, for example, you have nothing to worry about except some residual psychological trauma and the occasional flashback.

A barn...where's the barn? oh..there it is...way over there. I think I would prefer it much closer so I can see it.
What, no rats or snakes in your barn? My Dad had a huge shed on our farm, when I was a teenager growing up, and I used to have to check where all three pythons were, curled up in the rafters, before I would go in!
There's a barn on the property where I live but I haven't been in it since last fall.
I agree with the first photo. I was going to say the third but I actually prefer the pole with the vine as a focal point rather than the grasses.
My WV is fartbob. I hope it's not trying to tell me anything.
The first one. Definitely. Or the second. Absolutely. No, hold on, I like the grass in the third. And the barn. In all of them.
Our barns .. and attics... and cellar.. had the relics of more than 300 years of a family living in the same house - right down to a stuffed tiger head shot by great-great-uncle Peregrine (yes, really) in India, sometime right after dinosaurs roamed the earth. I wouldn't go in that end of the attics for years - it scared the tea leaves right out of me.
Tea, tea.... where is my tea?
I like the last one.. but that is just me.
The last time I was in a barn.. can't tell you. I wasn't really supposed to be in there. surprised aren't ya.
I like the first one because I love trumpet vine and you can see more of the barn.
Was in the barn Saturday morning when I had to go feed the horses while my mom was at the Ocean. Once I start riding again I imagine I will be in there many times during the week.
I like the first one because the vines and pole make a nice focal point. I like the second one - the lighting gives everything such a lovely glow. I like the feathery plant in the third one.
Its been a while since I've been in a barn..love the smell of the hay and the cows/horses in a barn.
The last one. I love the grass.
I like the last one too, with the grass.
Having grown up on a farm, we had a barn, as did most of my friends. But the last time I was in one was a couple of years ago, when we went into the old barn on my grandma's property. It smelled... OLD. If those walls could talk...
the first one ... tho I am not sure why, usually its just a gut reaction .. which by the way has been unable to shed the 5 lbs gained whilst BlogFesting.. it must have been that awesome wine and even more spectacular meal at The White Dog Inn truly the best food in Mathews, aside from the shrimp boil NoeNoe made and the pasta salad Re made ...
I like the picture with the telephone pole as well. . . just something about it.
LEt's see - I haven't been in a barn for way too long! I think I need to travel to Ohio to get a barn fix!
The last one. I'm into grass!
The last barn I was in used to belong to Wind Song and Scout:)
WV: messe Hmmmm....
The last one is my favorite!
<><
I really like the third one just because the focal point isn't necessarily the barn, but you're left wondering about the barn. And I love whatever that plant is, at the front of the picture. So yeah...the third one it is!
