Sunday afternoon I headed to Sandpiper Reef in Hallieford to participate in a very special celebration.
This beautiful young lady, Maggie, graduated from Mathews High School Saturday.
I've known Maggie since she was knee high to a giraffe.

The celebration included crabs.
And also some crabs.
After that, there were more crabs.

Mr. Blue Collar Joe is Maggie's uncle.

A good time was had by all.

Congratulations, Maggie!
I'll take a bushel of each, please:)
I'm nursing my own crab-picking wounds from the weekend. Also, I had a little more alcohol than usual (which means more than 1 of whatever I was drinking) so my head still isn't great, but it was a good weekend.
Hope the book is in the mail!
Love those donuts .. I wanted to bite into my computer monitor...
What a beautiful post for such a beautiful young lady.
And those donuts...seriously!!!
We had a crab feast in our 'hood Thursday night... we polished off 2 bushels. So good!! Congratulations to the lovely Maggie and her classmates!
Thanks for the post and thanks for sharing in our special day. We are already planning the 1 yr anniversary of graduating...this party was THAT much fun!

AHR- I was honored to be a part of it. Thanks so much for inviting me. I look forward to the anniversary...six months from now, you say? Good. Because a year is too long to wait for that much fun.
What a wonderful celebration!
