Once again it is Thursday, which means it's time to share three things, three thoughts, three whatever-is-on-your minds.
I'll begin.
1. So, yeah, it snowed here Tuesday night. To be perfectly honest, I was hoping for more, but beggars can't be choosers. School was out and work was cancelled. Hey, I'll take it. Thanks, Mother Nature.
2. Today is my father's 73rd birthday. Unfortunately the calendar is so full I doubt I will even get to tell him happy birthday in person-- even though he lives next door. But we'll celebrate appropriately when we can.
3. I need a vacation and am painfully aware of all the days, weeks and months to plow through before summer makes an appearance. Still, I am really tired and need a break.
4. (Because three is just a suggestion.) The Christmas tree is finally down--and it's not even Valentine's Day yet!
That's it from here. Please share three or more or fewer things, whatever is on your mind, anything at all.

Happy Birthday to Daddy!!!
I would love to go on vacation with you....let's figure something out!
I wish I were there with you tomorrow, but let me know if I can do anything moving forward...
talk to you soon! Love you!

Wow, snow! I had to laugh about school being closed but it's nice you had a day off work. I can imagine driving to work might have been rather hairy. When I used to commute to Vancouver in the snow, there would be cars sliding all over the place because no one on the southwest coast can drive in it.
The photos are gorgeous. Love the views from your house, and your parents' house.
Hugs and best wishes to your dad from me.
Luv, K
Happy Birthday to wonderful CBFather

Happy Bday CBFather!
1. It snowed here too. I hate the snow which means I'm officially old and crotchety.
2. I too need a vacation. I just need to get away, anywhere. Pretty sure the camping trip this weekend with cub scouts won't qualify.
3. I had a number 3 but forgot it (see #1 for possible reasons)
1. Happy Birthday to Husband!
2. It's cold!
3. The snow is almost covering the grass and there's no school!
4. I love NetFlix! and BBC!
1. Drought continues, but I'm just going to enjoy the day and the sunshine. Worrying won't help.
2. Waiting for a friend who is dropping by for a short visit today while out on a bike ride. You can never have too many friends!
3. Later there will be a quick trip to Mom's to install new smoke/carbon monoxide alarms mandated by the county. I'm sure my late husband and dad will be looking down and laughing at my attempts.
Wow, a wonderful winter wonderland!
Life is pretty good here in the Sunshine State here after storms cooled us down last night. Of course it will still be humid for the next 12months. Haha.
Good to be home after a few days visiting some grandchildren. Always good to note the rules of the games they play before you start, or you the seven year olds will always win! ;-)
Wrecked my shoulder trying to play cricket with said grandchildren.
Happy Birthday to your father. I remember the days of being so busy one wasn't sure how it was all going to work. They don't last!
Hope you get a relaxing weekend.
Loved the 3rd and 4th pics -- are those crepe myrtles?
DKV/Middle Sis - Sign me up for that vacation! Love you too.
Kay-I know, it is laughable, but we're just not equipped to handle it on all our backroads, etc. They got two days off from school for about two-ish inches of snow. Back to school and work tomorrow though.
LLC-Thank you!
DJ-Snow is fun! (Ducking to avoid being hit by rotten tomatoes.)
CBMumma/Growing Wild - Enjoy the celebration tonight at Gaylia's house.
Annie and Annie - I had to do a doubletake, at first I thought it was the same person commenting twice. Hello to Australian Annie (good for you for playing cricket!) and welcome/hello to Annie from (is it California? I can't remember).
Marta - Yes, it's two shots of the same crepe myrtle in my front yard.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
Love the snow! It's good you took photos - I know you don't often get anything measurable that stays around.
We, too, have snow. Including on our driveway. Which has turned to ice, basically. Yikes.
