Homecoming Parade, Part I

These are a few shots from Friday afternoon's Homecoming parade.  It was a gorgeous day for a parade.  It was a gorgeous weekend for anything, really. The weather couldn't have been more perfect.

Stay tuned for more parade pictures, coming soon to a blog near you.

Looks like fun, plus I'm always in favor of seeing more fire truck photos!!!! (Don't know if you know that I'm a volunteer firefighter--but yes, I love seeing firetrucks in a parade. And if you ever want to do shots of your station, I'd love that too) Betsy

I love the parades in Mathews. Don't know which I want more, the silver Beemer, or that blue truck!

Dghawk, were it in my power, both vehicles would be yours...but CBW- now that you took the photo of that orange car--it will haunt my dreams !! The youngsters in the parade are fantastic, (but I never ever see cars like that one anymore.) Looks much like a '49 or '50 Mercury ? or something similar--it is beyond gorgeous! I would not choose orange normally, but we have S.F. Giants fever during the world series, and that car is perfect. I look forward to Parade Part II.
