These signs are posted at Williams Wharf Landing.
I usually see at least one or two people fishing from various spots here whenever I go for a visit.
To the best of my knowledge they are fishing in the proper place, although I could see where someone might become confused and accidentally drop a line in the wrong spot.
Some of the signs are so bold they lean to one side to be sure you don't overlook them.
See? He's leaning to make sure I see him. |
Those who like to color outside the lines surely must also feel the urge to fish outside the signs, or is it just me?
I am not advocating fishing outside these signs, by the way. I am all for following
Coloring outside the lines, however, is strongly encouraged.

What happens if your line drifts outside of the line the signs are referring to? Technically you could cast your line wherever and go stand with your pole between the signs and be fishing between them.
I think that is were the fish are: between the signs right? Im right aren't I ,tell me I'm right ! Fish are between the signs right? good thing i can't read! MM
Wait. What signs?
OK. Forget the signs. My question is, what good is a floating dock if it won't float because it has a crooked piling, it doesn't have any cleats to tie your boat to it, and you can't (or you aren't supposed to) fish from it? Just asking.
