Silent Sunday

We never know the worth of water till the well is dry. ~Thomas Fuller, 1732

Why do we love the sea? It is because it has some potent power to make us think things we like to think. ~Robert Henri

Sitting here in silence, missing you all. And also drinking a glass of wine, but that's beside the point. Silence.

I love that sentence CBW. Hope you've found some time to rest, and gaze out over the creek.

Amen and Amen...just what I was going to say!

Except, to spoil the wonderful silence...

(I just turned off the tv on sunday night..bliss)

.... I finally found the article I was looking for, from the NYTimes, (when you were all so happy after blogfest)...about why we need nature reserves. Apart from stating a little of the obvious, I found it quite interesting...if and when you have time/are interested.

Enjoy sometime, Annie

Oh that sunset, that glorious peed in bay ... and I have forced, erm, shown everyone I know all 375 photos I took of the sun setting ... what perfect words/thoughts to accompany such magnificent sky/water ... shutting up now

Would healing waters include those that found their way inside my kitchen by way of our skylight during last night's thunderstorm, during which the power went out and the kids were home alone because Curt and I were out for dinner?

Just wondering.
